１週間ほど入院してました。
もう退院して今は安静保ってるところです。
人生今まで半日入院（全身麻酔は経験済み）しかした事なかったんで
入院前はいろいろ不安でした。
退屈さと食事制限が不安でした。
古い病棟なので、全体的にきっちゃない。
手術前、２日間あったけど、そんときはまだピンピン元気。
なのに一番食事量が少なかった・・。
夕飯はスープ一皿だけで、腹がグーグーなって寝れなかった。
Now I'm back home and resting quietly.
I have stayed in hospital only a half day so far before
(had a general anesthesia at that time)
but never for a week and was worried about boredom and hunger.
Had 2 days before an operation and I was just fine
but they served me only a dish of soup for dinner.
I was so hungry and couldn't sleep much.
手術日は丸１日絶食。腹の中を空っぽにして待機。
看護婦が昼勤と夜勤で６人ぐらいでローテーションで代わるのだが
この日の昼間はいかにも新人の子。
ガッキーと遠野凪子を合わせたような、かわいらしい子なのだが
「てめぇ、見習いか？」と思うくらい、おどおどして、声も小さく
不慣れな手つきで、何か聞くと「わからない」とすぐ答える。
こいつに手術前の筋肉注射を腕に刺される。
筋肉注射はやったことある人はご存知、痛い。
それを我慢してると、そいつが針を刺したまま『あ。』とか言いやがる。
「何があったんだよ！」
無事終わろうとしたとき、横で見てたベテランが「ちゃんと揉んで！」
とヘルプしてくれた。危うく変な処理されるとこだったぜ。
そして手術着へ。片手には点滴。
新人「ではこちらに着替えて下さい」
俺「・・・え？点滴あるんですけど」
新人「あ。お手伝いしますか？」
俺「・・・そうですね。」
Without any food all day on the operation day, I was waiting.
Nurses changed by a rotation with six people
by a day & night duty.
the nurse looked like a new face was my charge on that day.
She was very young and cute but she was timid,
talked in a small voice, worked by an inexperienced way
and answered "don't know" to my every questions.
She gave me a preoperative intramuscular injection.
You know it's a painful injection.
She said "Oh ohh" during this injection!
"What?! What the hell you did?!"
After it, the other nurse advised her to rub well.
Nearly I was treated wrong by her.
Then I had to change to a gown
with intravenous feeding to one hand.
The young nurse "Could you please change to this?"
Me "....well, I've got intravenous feeding on my hand"
The young nurse "Do you need help?"
Me "....Yeah......please"
手術室に着くと、さっきの注射により、全身麻酔する前に記憶を失くす。
目覚めると、病室に戻っていたが、とても寒くてブルブル震える。
麻酔が残っているため、母親や医者と会話するも半分寝てて覚えてない。
覚えてるのはやけに鼻周りがかゆかった。
酸素マスクをずらしては、鼻を掻く。なんでだろ？と思ったら
鼻の中が固まった鼻血だらけだった。
どうやら手術中、鼻から管を入れてたらしい。
そしてその管が喉の方に通っていたので、喉も痛い。
気づくと左手首には点滴。口には酸素マスク。股に尿道カテーテル。
足に変なの巻き付いていて、それが４５秒おきに膨らみ足を圧迫。
機械人間みたいでしょ。Looks a robot!
その状態で、水も飲んではいけない。乾く口を寝たままうがいするだけ。
夜中になると麻酔も切れて来て、床ずれが痛い。傷口も痛い。
４５秒おきにシュコォーッと言う音と共に、
つま先から膝下に向けて圧迫され全然寝れない！！
１時間おきに看護婦が体温と血圧を測りにくる。
元々低血圧なので、上が６５下が３５とかいう数字が出てしまい
何度も測りなおすベテラン看護婦。
何度測っても一緒ぜよ、お姉さん。
After the operation I was back on bed and felt so cold.
I was half sleeping as anesthesia was left,
don't remember much what I talked with my mum or a doctor.
I only remember that I was itchy around my nose.
moved an oxygen mask and scratched my nose.
I found the inside of my nose was
full of the hardened nosebleeds!
seemed to have put a pipe from a nose during the operation
and it was been through my throat. had an achy throat as well.
Can you imagine a woman
with intravenous feeding on her left wrist,
an oxygen mask on her mouth, urethra catheter on a crotch
and weird bands which press legs every 45 seconds by swelling??
couldn't drink even water, only wet in my mouth sleeping.
When it got midnight I had a bedsore
and the wounds got painful.
A nurse came to measure temperature and blood pressure,
and leg bands pressed from toes to knees every 45 sec
with a strange noise. Can't sleep!!
